New Elites in GWEN?
Okily this is something I see very often around these and competitive forums:

Was this EVER confirmed?
I always thought that they only announced the normal skills - and kept the elites a secret so that there would be at least some surprises in the store?
So - was it officially confirmed that the players will only get normal skills?

Now this doesn't make sense to me. Why have that big Brand-the-Boss contest and then not give said bosses some freakin' sweet Elites to snag?

Because you can summon a Mursaat or Fire Djin with a PvE skill?

*grumble* Shouldn't have edited it... *shrugs*
Capping Elites is a GW staple, isn't it? Going on cap runs with guildies is a big thing for some people.

I was dishearten to hear about no new elites.
Although I did make a post about this and got it locked (a bit harsh here), so your probably find this post locked

Like Curse You said, there are no elites in GW:EotN because we will get 50 pve only skills, that basically have the same power as an elite should.
This way we do get our "elite skills" , sure they are not named elite skill , they are just named pve only skills AND we also don't unbalance pvp more then it already is.
Seems like a good solution to me? Now just balance the pvp we already have and make some changes to some skills to make them more viable in pve and everyone ( ok, most..) are happy.

No elites? So they just screwed a lot of cash out of their own hands, because most PvPers won't buy it now.
Ha. GG Anet.
I'll still get it though. Won't be as happy, because I hoped for a fun energy cost sword elite that's useful in my builds.

Because chances are I'm more of a nerd than you and put the answer into my guide...lol. Sad but true :P
So no, there will be NO elites for GW:EN...and I've seen the skills for the Norn Asura, etc, and they ARE NOT elites.
Thanks!
